When Reality Doesn't Turn Out the Way We Want
Submitted by john on April 6, 2007 - 9:01pm. For What It's WorthOften our lives don't turn out the way we want because they're built upon shifting sands. In other words, the foundations upon which they're constructed are faulty.
We are, in a very real sense, caught in a tug-o-war, a conflict of laws that we don't know exists, much less understand how they influence our lives in this world.
We think that our conscious thoughts and actions create our lives. And certainly in a sense they do. But there's far more going on beneath the surface that also influences the success of those efforts.

Dealing with Reality
Submitted by john on April 6, 2007 - 8:11am. For What It's WorthI've heard many people -- spiritual teachers included -- talk the good talk of creating what we want in life. And they've laid out some cogent understanding of the universal laws -- as far as they go.
But it appears that there's a disconnect between their teachings and their lives for some of them. For many are still dealing with the same old stuff. Mountains of bills. Unexpected repairs. Illnesses or other bad situations of self or loved ones.
To quote my grandmother, "It's enough to try the patience of Job."
But patience isn't the lesson here. Unfortunately, it's the one we've been applying as we grit our teeth and keep our noses to the grindstone.
Miami Program Insights
Submitted by john on March 29, 2007 - 12:56pm.Sorry I'm a couple days late with this week's newsletter. There's been a lot to do, but no need to get into that now.
However, I did speak at the Miami Convention Center last Sunday, and want to extend a warm welcome to all our new subscribers who attended.
I invite them to take advantage of our free registration at WhisperZone so they can read and participate with others awakening to what's going on inside.
It was a great group. We spoke about many of the things we all see wrong with our world, and they were very forthright about what needs fixing.
Lack of trust, caring, and concern over each other or our world were very high on their list. And I agree. It's a good place to start as we go about trying to lay the foundation for a better tomorrow.
The Equinox is Here
Submitted by john on March 20, 2007 - 11:50am.My sensitivity to energy has increased significantly in recent years. Now the spring equinox is upon us. And it's throwing me for a loop.
It's hard to describe. It's sort of like sticking your head in a microwave. Or being thrown into a giant magnet and being bombarded by an electromagnetic current. T
Then multiply it by whatever the biggest number is that you can think of.
I don't want to get too metaphysical here. But the effect is it's dislodging much of the crud that's lodged deep in our energy fields. Allowing it to float to the surface, where we can see it and decide whether it serves us any more.
If the End of the World is Coming, Who Will Win?
Submitted by john on March 16, 2007 - 6:13pm. For What It's WorthThis entry will be a little different than most you might be used to here. Because today I'm not trying to use my experiences to show other ways of looking at your life.
Instead, I'm getting up on my soap box. Or more precisely, I'm going to tell you the way I see this world of ours. And what lies ahead.
What If You Could See Your Own Death?
Submitted by john on March 5, 2007 - 10:33pm. For What It's WorthWhat if you could see your death? Or more precisely, the plans you laid for your life and the possible means by which it might end determined before you came into this world?
Would you change the way you live it? Or would you keep on going the same as you have been?
I'm not talking about purely physical conditions that you know could take you out. Rather, I'm referring to the complex interaction between them and the issues and choices in your life, things you may not even realize are happening to bring about your spiritual expansion while you are here. Or not.
Hanging On By A Thread?
Submitted by john on March 4, 2007 - 8:35am. For What It's WorthAre you just hanging on by a thread?
Perhaps you're so filled with discontent you're thinking of blowing up your life and starting over. Or maybe you're facing a life threatening illness that's got you asking "why me?"
Both are symptoms of an inner voice calling you to awaken to who you are and what you're about. And to begin to reflect that in how you go about your life.
What Can We Create?
Submitted by john on February 28, 2007 - 6:39pm. For What It's WorthThis blog is the beginning of what I hope will be an extensive dialogue with you. Not just me talking, but all of you speaking out as well.
We know there is an event on the horizon commonly called the Ascension. All the religions predict it. The Mayans were so sure it was coming at the end of 2012 that they skipped the rest of their perpetual calendar.
We all know it's coming.
I can feel it. I think you probably can, too, deep inside.
What Are You Creating With Your Life?
Submitted by john on February 27, 2007 - 10:11am. For What It's WorthToday we're going on an inner journey. It is one that will require thought and reflection. So if you're reading from work or with a lot of noise or activity around you, you might want to print this out so you can consider it more deeply when you can get some quiet time.
Together we're going to look at what life is really bringing you. Because that's where you must start if you're to get what you really want.
Perhaps the answers will be obvious, but I encourage you to reflect on them, and allow yourself to question whether something else lies deeper, below the surface of your awareness.
Let us begin.
A Question of Focus
Submitted by john on February 22, 2007 - 10:13pm. For What It's WorthI try to challenge the status quo and loosen the hold of the lower ego wherever I can, thereby making way for our higher aspects within. My objective is not only to raise awareness of our common evolutionary journey, but to do it in ways that can be more easily applied in our world.
This is, after all, the critical failing of religion. What good is it to be told to love each other, if we don't know how, much less have the will to do it when faced with the hard choices of life?
My own situation requires a personal connection where I can look into the eyes, and touch the hearts and minds, of those beginning to awaken to new ways of seeing their lives in this world. Why, I don't know. Only that I must.
