Life is a Battlefield

For What It's Worth

To borrow a phrase from Yogananda, life is a battlefield. And on it we're fightig the war of our lives. But for those on the path, the question is how? How are we to fight this war? And for that matter, who is the enemy?

We are the enemy -- or more particularly, the inner characteristics and patterns that create or shape the experiences of our lives.

You may be tempted to resort to the old ways and fall into the old traps. But that old consciousness does not serve your expansion. Rather, it's a prison from which to escape.

For those who travel the path of awakening, the weapon of choice is light. Light to fight the darkness in us. Light to loosen the hold of those patterns, and examine whether our characteristics need to be expressed in our customary manner. And then to use that light to help you love a little more.

How are you fighting the war of your life?
