The new way is coming

There's a new consciousness blowing across the land. Can you feel it?

It's showing up in many ways. We see it in the burgeoning social enterprise movement, where people are starting businesses that can make a difference, not just profit. And we see it in the general dissatisfaction of most people with the way things are. For existing systems and methods aren't really serving us as well as they once did.

But you'll notice that we don't see much of an impact in the beliefs, systems and institutions tied to the old ways. Religious beliefs are still fighting at every turn. Political sides are warring, not to mention the haves and have-nots in the world power struggle. And the corporate world for the most part only things doing good is a matter of public relations, and not a reason for doing what they do.

Those that don't let go of their old ways will soon fall by the wayside. Those that do will float with the tide and find a place in the new tomorrow.

Where do you find yourself? Tied to your old ideas, perceptions, and ways of doing things? Or do you allow those that no longer serve you to pass quietly into the night, regardless of how important they once were to you?

It doesn't matter much what it was, whether some new age philosophy or a tie to "an eye for an eye." The new way is coming. Will you come along? Or be left behind?
