A Question of Focus
I try to challenge the status quo and loosen the hold of the lower ego wherever I can, thereby making way for our higher aspects within. My objective is not only to raise awareness of our common evolutionary journey, but to do it in ways that can be more easily applied in our world.
This is, after all, the critical failing of religion. What good is it to be told to love each other, if we don't know how, much less have the will to do it when faced with the hard choices of life?
My own situation requires a personal connection where I can look into the eyes, and touch the hearts and minds, of those beginning to awaken to new ways of seeing their lives in this world. Why, I don't know. Only that I must.
Yet that connection has developed less rapidly than I would prefer, limiting not only the impact of these efforts, but also our ability to maintain this effort on an altruistic basis.
It is thus a matter of necessity, as well as design, that my attention turns back toward establishing this reciprocal flow to provide for the needs of my family while it is carried forward to the world.
A Change of Direction?
As I move forward on this path, it has become both necessary and appropriate that my attention is drawn to practical application of these principles. That application involves addressing the situations of work where the bulk of human experiences are gathered, and how they impact our personal lives on an inner and outer basis.
